Who Am I
Since 2009, Primrose Humphries has provided compassionate, client-centered therapy through her private practice, Culmer Counseling Services, LLC. Located conveniently in Pembroke Pines, FL (west of I-75 on Pines Blvd), her practice offers a supportive, welcoming environment tailored to each client's unique path toward wellness.
To accommodate diverse schedules and preferences, sessions are available both in-person and virtually via telehealth for individuals and couples. In addition to clinical therapy, Primrose serves as a Qualified Supervisor for Registered Mental Health Counseling Interns (RMHCI), mentoring the next generation of mental health clinicians.
At Culmer Counseling Services, the guiding principle is simple: no single approach works for everyone. Therapy is a collaborative journey centered entirely around the individual's needs, goals, and values.
Grounded in the belief that "You are what you think," Primrose helps clients harness and direct the power of their thoughts. By shifting internal narratives, clients cultivate clarity, build healthy habits, restore emotional balance, and unlock personal growth. As a lifelong student of Humanistic and Existential psychology, she approaches every individual with deep empathy, meeting clients where they are and honoring their innate capacity for self-discovery.
Primrose integrates evidence-based therapeutic tools with holistic, body-centered practices to treat the whole person—mind and body:
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART): A specialized trauma-focused modality designed to process distressing memories and foster rapid emotional relief.
Gottman Couples Counseling: Advanced, evidence-based relationship therapy designed to improve communication, manage conflict, and rebuild intimacy.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Identifying and reshaping negative thought patterns to foster healthier behaviors and emotional resilience.
Motivational Interviewing (MI): Supporting individuals through life transitions by strengthening internal motivation for positive change.
Mind-Body Trauma-Informed Practice: Certified training that addresses the physical and somatic impacts of stress and trauma.
Integrative Yoga & Breathwork: As a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), she actively weaves gentle yoga techniques, intentional breathing exercise, and targeted reflection into therapy sessions to help regulate the nervous system.
